Introduction to Writing Refugee Mental Health Reports: Canadian Immigration

Introductory course to learn about conducting asylum evaluations and writing reports for immigration purposes. 
Objectives and Expected Outcomes:
1- Identify the role of clinicians and purpose of assessments
2- Name the type of reports and when to use them
3- Recognize professional ethics, professional competency and scope of mental health assessment for immigration purposes.
4- Outline the components of forensic assessment
5- Learn some tips on writing sound reports 6- Summarize important steps to take when testifying in courts
